Stage terminology: center center stage?

Is the phrase center center stage a dance term? I am proofing a friend's paper for dance appreciation.

Dear Linda,

Yes, you can use that expression. It sounds a bit awkward, but it is used to differentiate that part of the stage from the center in the front, the center in the back or the center in any of the sides.

You can also search for another way to express that, according to your writing style.
