Music ideas for my choreography ?

by Sophie

Hi, I'm currently choreographing a dance solo for my performance exam, the stimulus is 'decent into madness'. I'm looking for something that has a slow, gentle atart but gets more frantic towards the end. Suggestion would be much appreciated!

Dear Sophie,

We have a great page about the topic 'music for contemporary dance'. At the end of that page, you will find three links that will guide you to the websites of musicians that specialize in composing for contemporary dance choreographers.

They all have options to listen to their pieces for free (online). Some of their music is royalty free and some is really cheap, with the option of paying what you decide to pay. And some pieces are even free.

I recommend you to visit that page:
