How to land a side Ariel quietly

by Kaitlyn
(Nsw)

I weigh barely anything but No matter how hard I try I can't land my side Ariel quietly. I have tried landing on my toes I still make a thud and in my contemporary I am meant to do it and land quiet but I always make a huge noise. Any tips!

Hold your breath
by: Maria

Dear Kaitlyn,

Usually, the trick to land quietly is to hold your breath until the landing is completed. At the same time, you must try to hold your weight upwards.

However, there is always ‘some noise’ during landings. The goal is to reduce it (as well as the impact), as much as you can.
